Ignorance is Blissful

With the girl he’s liked for almost a year. However, she didn’t like him, she was just a year below trying to get to prom. She is my friend and told me that she didn’t like him, but when he asked her, she was happy and she wanted to go with him. They drove to prom in my father’s antique Mustang car. When it was time to leave from and go to an after party, she told him that she didn’t want to go with him because she didn’t like him. At the party, they told everybody to grab their dates for another slow dance. She ran into the bathroom and hid. When the party was over, she didn’t want to drive him home. 

Before prom, she would always text him, call him, hang out with him, because they were friends. Now, since she got to go, she still texts him back, but one word answers, and less enthusiasm, and she won’t hangout with him, or call him, or anything anymore. He really likes her, but he doesn’t know that she doesn’t like him. Should I tell him? Or should I let him be miserable himself when he finds out?
